By accessing or using meriachai.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our website or purchase our products.

Products and Pricing

We make every effort to display accurate product descriptions and pricing. However, we reserve the right to correct any errors and to change or update information at any time without prior notice.

Prices are listed in US dollars and do not include shipping or applicable taxes, which will be calculated at checkout.

Orders and Payment

By placing an order, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to use the payment method provided. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason.

Payment is processed securely through Shopify Payments. We do not store your complete payment information on our servers.

Shipping

We ship within the United States. Shipping times and costs are calculated at checkout based on your location. Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days.

Shipping is free on all US orders.

California Residents — Proposition 65 Notice

WARNING: Consuming this product can expose you to chemicals including lead, which is known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. Lead can be present at trace levels in many spices (including cinnamon and ginger) regardless of farming method. Our supplier provides batch-level Certificates of Analysis for heavy metals; we are happy to share the most recent COA on request. For more information go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov/food.

Returns and Refunds

Meria Chai is a food product, so we do not accept returns and cannot take product back.

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or is not what you ordered, email hello@meriachai.com within 30 days of the order date with your order number and a photo. We will replace it or refund it.

We do not offer refunds because of taste or a change of mind. If the chai is not working for you, write to us and we will help you get the cup right.

Requests received more than 30 days after the order date are not eligible, and we may decline requests that fall outside this policy. Orders placed before October 10, 2026 are covered by the policy in effect when they were placed.

Subscriptions

Subscription orders are processed automatically at your chosen interval (every 30, 45, or 60 days). You can modify, pause, or cancel your subscription at any time by logging into your account or contacting us.

Subscribers receive 10% off every order. Cancellation takes effect after your current billing cycle.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and graphics, is the property of Meria Chai and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our written permission.

Limitation of Liability

Meria Chai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or products. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for your order.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. Your continued use of our website constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
